— The EAA Team
Song Meadows is a small alpaca farm in Central New York. We are located atop a hill overlooking beautiful Skaneateles Lake. We are a family farm, owned and operated by the Cuykendalls (pronounced KIKE-in-dawl)-Cindy, Karl, and son Mark. Since 2001, we have been breeding, raising, selling, showing, and enjoying alpacas. We have participated actively in every facet of the alpaca business. Cindy is past President of The Empire Alpaca Association, and served for 6 years as a member of the EAA board of directors, and served on the Youth Board of AOA. She has participated in a multitude of educational events, as a student, a teacher, and an organizer. Our involvement in the alpaca industry has been one of the best experiences in our lives. However, due to Cindy's increasing difficulties with a long-standing back injury, we have been forced to downsize considerably. We are no longer breeding or showing our alpacas. Our herd currently stands at 17, 5 males and 12 females. Many of our animals are elderly, and they will live out their lives here at Song Meadows in comfort. Some of the younger animals are for sale, and priced to move. All females are available for $500 each, males $300 each. Customers who purchase alpacas from Song Meadows can count on our support and assistance long after the sale. Each alpaca here at Song Meadows is appreciated as an individual ('Packies are just fuzzy people!) and we work carefully with their new owners to ensure a smooth transition. In addition to our alpacas, we have a variety of alpaca products for sale. Cindy is an accomplished fiber artist and makes many beautiful items from the fleece. Our fiber products can be found online at our Etsy store. Send us a message or call today (315)730-1221 to schedule your visit!
